About Me
I'm a Sydney-based artist whose practice is grounded in drawing. My work explores observation, process, and the expressive potential of mark-making, with drawing at the centre of how I investigate the world around me.
I completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the National Art School in 2018, and since then my practice has been recognised through a number of awards, grants, residencies, and finalist selections. These include the Dobell Drawing Prize 2024, the William Fletcher Grant for Drawing, the Clyde & Co Art Award, a Megalo Residency, and an ADFAS Residency. I have also been selected as a finalist in the Portia Geach Memorial Award, the Lester Prize, and the Brett Whiteley Travelling Scholarship.
My work has been shaped by a strong commitment to drawing as both a discipline and a language. I am interested in the tension between precision and instinct, and in how drawing can hold immediacy, vulnerability, and complexity all at once.
